I’ll
do this for a couple of years….
At
least that’s what I thought in 1983. What
I didn’t count on was loving the profession and thoroughly enjoying the people
I came in contact with.
It seems like yesterday.
I had just passed my Real Estate Licensing Exam. I said to my husband
“I’ll do this for a couple of years but then I think I’ll move on
to something new. After all, you just show a couple of houses and then your
customer buys one.” He just
laughed at me (he has been a constant source of humor throughout our 23 year
marriage). That was 1983. Each
and very day I assist people and families with the most important investment of
their lives. This is where your
children will grow up, your haven after a long day’s work, a
neighborhood/community to meet friends for life and where you will protect and
grow a significant part of your savings and investments.
I have never lost sight of this and that is why I stay at the forefront
of my profession in continuing education and services.
And, that is also why, I provide and maintain this web site as a service
to you.
What
have I done since 1983 besides get older (Sigh!)??? Well, I kept my husband for his humor (just kidding).
Living
in Framingham, I started my career as a salesperson in Sudbury.
Upon attaining my Broker License I joined a start-up as the Assistant
Manager. As the Business grew I
created and maintained a 3rd party relocation division, assisted in
the training and directing of the sales staff, maintained my personal customer
base and attained the GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute).
Looking
for new challenges, I opened an office in Marlborough (for a company that will
remain nameless) and became a Licensed Real Estate Instructor.
The office was a success, but it was corporate policy that managers could
not sell. Quite simply, I missed
interacting with the public and the day to day challenge of finding that “just
right home”. Frankly, that
was the reason I became a broker and it is what I truly enjoy about my
profession.
So,
along with a family move to Upton, I changed offices and affiliations, returned
to sales and attained the Certified Buyer Representative designation.
Now, located at the Remax Executive Office in Hopkinton, I provide the
services of a broker with a unique depth of experience rarely found in the
industry.
I
continue to attend professional education courses, most recently attaining the
E-PRO designation (a course dealing
with the unique needs and services of Internet customers) in an effort to
continue to provide cutting edge service.
And,
with all this, I have never lost sight of one thing. Whether you are relocating from out of state or moving down
the street, this is one of the most important moves of your life.
I hope it will be my privilege to assist you in finding a home that meets
your needs and requirements.
